The Internet age brought a wealth of new possibilities to the logistics
process. Trade Tech is proud to have been at the forefront of the
logistics software thought leadership chain from the beginning of the
electronic retailing (e-tailing) revolution. We envision a software
application that provides all of the front-end tools to enable the sale
of goods on the Internet with a full logistics back end. Forwarders and
third-party logistics providers will manage the logistics on the back
end, while the e-tailer will manage the merchandising and purchasing on
the front end.Trade Tech, we believe that the "e-tailing" revolution is
closely
linked to the logistics process. We envision a software application
that provides all of the front end tools to enable the sale of goods on
the internet with a full logistics backend. We think that both
forwarders and 3PLs will manage the logistics backend, while the
e-tailer will manage the merchandising and purchasing on the front end.
Our target markets include, but are not limited to:
- Selling sophisticated logistics applications to forwarders, 3PLs, NVOCC, carriers and air consolidators.
- Selling store front applications to e-tailers.
- Creating a clearing house for data transfer between parties involved in international trade.
All of our applications are centrally served via the internet and we can and have quickly tied together U.S. and overseas offices into a single system without relying on expensive wide area networks.
